The UNSW Chess Club is hosting a 2 game, 20 board match between our elite chess team and a conglomerate of the strongest players from the rest of Sydney in our attempt to prove our unmatched dominance in NSW chess.

Opening @ 10:00am
Round 1 @ 10:30am
Round 2 @ 3:00pm
Closing @ 7:30pm
Venue:
Colombo LG01, High St, UNSW Sydney, Kensington NSW.
Accessible by public transport - short walk from UNSW High St Light Rail station.
Format:
90 minutes + 30 seconds increment from move 1
ACF and FIDE rated 2 game match with alternating boards and colours
Entry fee and Prizes:
$15 entry fee (Arc Members)
$20 entry fee (Non-arc Members)
Free entry for GM, IM, WGM, WIM
Players will be awarded $25 per win

Note that this is an Expression of Interest, not finalised registration. Starting on 20th September, we will select 5 new people for the team on each Friday, with all spots being finalised on 11th October. You only need to send one Expression of Interest - entries from earlier weeks will still be considered in later weeks.
Applicants who are selected will be contacted by email with details for payment. Applicants are chosen by rating, while also ensuring players come from a variety of other NSW clubs.
