Today, the UNSW Chess Club finds ourselves in a similar position.

The UNSW Chess Club is hosting a 2 game, 14 board match between our elite chess team and a conglomerate of the strongest players from the rest of Sydney in our attempt to prove our unmatched dominance in NSW chess.

Colombo LG01, High St, UNSW Sydney, Kensington NSW.
Accessible by public transport - short walk from UNSW High St Light Rail station.
Format:
90 minutes + 30 seconds increment from move 1
ACF and FIDE rated 2 game match with alternating boards and colours
Entry fee and Prizes:
$15 entry fee (excluding GM, IM, WGM, WIM)
Players will be awarded $25 per win

Broadcast:
By entering the event, players agree that the UNSW Chess Club may broadcast images or videos of the event to our social media pages. Players also consent that their completed scoresheets may be photographed by UNSW Chess Club volunteers in order to broadcast their games. The event broadcast will be available on the day on the UNSW Chess Club YouTube channel. More information on the event’s broadcast will be released closer to the date.
